I have a feed reader that lives on a USB drive so I can read feeds at work without accessing the internet. I run an update before I leave the house in the morning. There is a site called Portable Apps that has a whole slew of applications you can add to a portable disk.</p><p>There are a lot of online storage sources and applications so it isn't strictly necessary to have portable storage, but I find it very convenient. And that watch is very cool. I just finally moved away from my antique desktop system, and unfortunately I don't have a crossover cable or a DHCP server, so I can't just share/migrate data between the two machines over a network.
