    Hi Rob,
Thanks for the kind words. Ultimately, in my humble opinion the only job assurance are one's resourcefulness and ability to use the information they acquire. The interviews are with people making millions and hundreds of thousands, till today, so their principles definitely work.

The question is what will you do with the information once you access it?

@MBR: Glad you enjoyed it :)

Now who can say that podcasting is dead? I believe you launch this tutorial because you see a need for this. I just hope that this can help those people who criticize podcasting understand and accept that podcasting I here to stay :)
  • Mwangi · 1 year ago
I definitely saw a need for this. As to whether podcasting is here to stay, thats an interesting one, because whereas people will always need channels to communicate, podcasting will only thrive so long as people see need for it and for the time being it appears the need is there.

Nice one. Podcasting is an unbelievably effective educational tool. It's certainly not dead. It's not as wide spreadly useful as people made it out to be, but it's showing a lot of its effectiveness in niche areas. I definitely don't think that podcasting is dead- in fact, it's rapidly growing. Many people, with the advent of the new iPods are now including video with their podcasts to continue to grow their subscription base. I bet that the principles in the podcasting tutor could easily be applied to video podcasting as well.

@Uptake Suz:Thanks for the kind words. Yup, video is definitely the next frontier; that's why its important to study guys like Gary Vaynerchuk and Andrew Lock who are leveraging video and combining it with podcasting&blogging technology.

i have a question about the course. i have had a podcast going for a few years already, it is EXTREMELY abstract and avant garde in nature. could i actually make money off of it using the course in question even though my podcast would be considered an "aquired taste" (to say the least, although my friends seem to like it :-)
    thanks.
  • Mwangi · 1 year ago
@Ernie: I think if you check out the manifesto and listen to the interview with Paul Colligan you would have a plethora of ideas on how to monetize (and figure out whether it can be monetized in the first place)
  • Ernie Small · 1 year ago
all right then, i'll check it out and let you know how it goes.
