$331. Yup, according to Smart PageRank this site is worth a mere $331. Granted, when I ran the tool my Google pagerank was coming up 0 because it was on the fritz, but that shouldn’t make a drastic difference. The most interesting thing about this estimation is that the stats for Alexa, backlinks, etc. are the same as they were for CyberWyre. So I’d say that, unless they lean heavily on Google pagerank as a means of value, Smart PageRank is very conservative with their value estimates.

very true... and these are numbers that you cannot go by. For a simple argument sake... my blog can be worth millions to me for the simple fact that I have invested my time and my energy. Also, the sense of satisfaction you derive is priceless. Nice article.

As with any type of real estate, it's only worth as much as anyone is willing to pay for it. The only real way to know how much it's worth is to try and sell it.

I think the real reason these things are so off is that they do not treat a blog like a business. If they did the numbers would make more sense. The income a blog produces would be the prime important factor in judging its worth.
